Analysis of “JEE Mains 2019”

JEE Main 2019-I attempt was held from 9th to 12th January 2019 in Online format with 2 shifts per day.

Mathematics paper was lenghty and a bit tricky. Around 40% questions were asked from XI and approx 54% from XII. 6% questions were from mixed topics of XI+XII.

Physics paper was comparatively difficult and lengthy. Around 42% questions were asked from XI and approx 53% from XII. 5% questions were from combined topics of XI+XII.

Chemistry paper was comparatively simple. It was almost equally distributed from Physical, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. Around 37% questions were asked from XI and approx 58% from XII. 5% questions were asked from combined topics of XI+XII.

On the whole, 40% paper was asked from XI Syllabus, 54% from XII Syllabus and 6% from mixed concepts.

Out of the 3 subjects, Maths was lengthy and difficult. Physics was lengthy and tricky, whereas Chemistry was easy and 50% Chemistry was NCERT based.
